In recent years, in order to promote and ensure the stability and steady progress of the China-ASEAN international supply chain, the Chongzuo area has signed a cooperation agreement with the Lang Son-Dong Dang Port Economic Zone in Vietnam and Phu Rong Industrial Park in Ha Tinh Province to utilize the “two countries” of China and Vietnam. The "Shuangyuan" cooperation platform attracts enterprises to "locate in Guangxi + transfer to Vietnam" for cross-border production layout, and strive to build "raw material import + Chongzuo processing", "Greater Bay Area research and development + Chongzuo manufacturing + ASEAN assembly" and "processing production + OEM" "Assembly + ASEAN Sales" and other characteristic cross-border industrial chains, focusing on the development of cross-border processing industries such as electronic information, mahogany, fruits, and Chinese medicinal materials.
Since the beginning of this year, in order to ensure the smooth customs clearance of foreign trade goods and realize the smooth connection and normal operation of domestic and foreign industrial chains, Pingxiang, while coordinating the prevention and control of the epidemic, has opened the China-Vietnam Friendship Pass—the Friendship International Trade Freight Special Channel and the China-Vietnam Puzhai— The Xinqing Mutual Market Trade Channel has innovatively implemented the non-contact "drop and hang" and "re-entry and re-exit" customs clearance modes, and the Friendship Pass has become the only non-stop operating port among the national highway ports to Vietnam in recent years. In the first half of this year, a total of 1,551 vehicles were released at Youyiguan Port, with a total value of US$986 million. Since June, the daily average number of heavy vehicles entering and leaving the Friendship Pass has increased to more than 600, reaching about 80% of the same period last year.
